Architecture School” follows a group of fourth-year architecture students as they conceive, refine and physically build a home for a family looking to reestablish themselves post Hurricane Katrina.

From classroom to construction site, the dedicated students learn on the job as creativity, vision and bold design meet the necessities of materials, budgets and time constraints, all while literally helping to rebuild New Orleans.

“Architecture School” was created by Michael Selditch and Stan Bertheaud.

Selditch, who taught architecture and was a practicing architect for 14 years, also directed the series.

“Architecture School” premieres on Sundance Channel on Wednesday August 20 at 9:00pm e/p.
